SIMPLE INSTRUMENT RENTAL TERMS: $60 PER 6-Months for all sizes violins and violas plus a fully refundable $50-security deposit. All sizes of Celli are available for rent at $120 per 6-months plus $200 fully refundable deposit with full string and adjustment support during the rental period for all rentals.

Instrument pickup and delivery is available in New York’s Greater Capital District. Minor repairs, new strings and set-ups may be done as a same day service or while you walk on the adjoining State Canal Recreationway-Mohawk-Hudson Bikeway. The view from Shaker Violin Repair is spectacular as the sun sets on the water at the widest point of the Mohawk River from the shop windows and trail side benches at 4229 River Road, Latham, NY, 12110 (just over a mile from I87 Northway Exit 6).
About Owner, Luthier Stephen Iachetta
Luthier Stephen Iachetta has been professionally performing, building and repairing violins for nearly five decades and plays spirited dance music on rare 18th century and contemporary electric violin, Gibson Mandolin, 1880 Clawhammer Banjo, and Gibson Tenor guitar.
Stephen plays either solo as Shaker Fiddle or with Friends Union Band. The Friends Union Band has two albums available to stream at Spotify Friends Union Reunion album and Friends Union Live and other online streaming sites.
